ING. ALBERTO HIDALGO HERNÁNDEZ
He was born in Mexico City, on May 31st, 1952. Superior graduate of the School of Textile Engineering of the Institute Politecnico Nacional Generation 1970 - 1974.
Coin collector since the age of 15, with a significant amount of participation in conventions, exhibitions, congresses and conferences. Currently, he is considered a Numismatic authority nationally and internationally.
He has written articles for the Numismatic Newsletter of the Numismatic Society of Mexico, A.C., He is author of: General Catalog of Mexican Bill 1822-1980 and co-author of the Complete Encyclopedia of the Mexican Currency 1822-1980.
